In collaboration with the Sandy Hill Community Health Centre and Just Food -- and with kind permission for land use from Saint Paul University -- SLOE has established a community garden. The garden began in July '07 with 16 plots, and four more were added at the end of the season. Given the demand, we are looking for other options to further expand. The City of Ottawa has provided funds for some tools and equipment via the Green Partnership program.
